A yoga practice is an excellent compliment and form of recovery for runners. Asanas assist in loosening tight muscles, strengthening weak areas, creating balance and stability, improving range of motion and mobility, and promoting proprioception. A pranayama practice assists with oxygenating muscles and relaxing the nervous system. Engaging in a meditation practice can calm the mind and allow our thoughts to slow and be less reactive.

Join Sarah for a series combining strengthening and lengthening asanas with restorative and calming asanas to get your body ready, and/or recovered from, running.

You do not have to be a "runner" to attend! This class is for everybody.

Please wear comfortable layers and bring props to support you in your restorative poses.
