Jennifer Smith
Jennifer started her yoga journey 20 years ago as a teenager when she sought yoga as a means of exercise. She mostly practiced vinyasa styles that worked the body hard and fast which fulfilled her need at that time. Later in her 20s, she turned to yoga to as a means to help cope with challenging life experiences. She learned and practiced pranayama and meditation along with asana and developed a more wholistic approach to yoga that ultimately helped keep her head above water when times were really tough. She began to understand the deep physical, mental emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga which became deeply rooted in daily life and continues to be her anchor today. Over the years she has taken many trainings with amazing teachers in many different modalities in the yoga realm including asana, pranayama, meditation, body work, energy work and anatomy and kinesiology. She has benefitted so much from practicing yoga and truly loves sharing the beauty if offers with others. She aims to construct classes that are accessible to all, that draw from different types of practices to create a well rounded class that leaves everyone with a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
