Prenatal yoga will help prepare your mind and body for the challenges and transformations experienced during pregnancy and birth. In a relaxed, non judgmental approach you will be encouraged to listen to your body and work at your own pace as you experience gentle and effective postures, calming breathwork, and mindfulness meditation.

Classes begin with a group discussion. Everyone will have the opportunity to honor their difficulties, share their fears, and celebrate the joys of pregnancy. Through these discussions with other pregnant women, you will become more trusting in your body's ability to nurture and birth your baby, and will connect and build relationships with new friends. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth – every baby is a beautiful new beginning.

Women of all fitness levels and all stages of pregnancy can participate in pre-natal yoga. Please consult your doctor before starting a new exercise program.

Students are encouraged to bring their own pillows/bolsters, and blankets to help facilitate more restful postures. Blocks and straps will be provided. There are also mats available at the studio.
